TECHNOLOGIES

IoT – The Internet of Things (IoT)

The network of physical devices, vehicles, home appliances and other items embedded with electronics, software, sensors, actuators, and connectivity which enables these objects to connect and exchange data. Telematics, Environmental, Service Industries, Connected Car, Wearables, Power & Gas are some examples of experience Vestigon has.

Machine Learning

Machine learning is a field of computer science that often uses statistical techniques to give computers the ability to “learn” (i.e., progressively improve performance on a specific task) with data, without being explicitly programmed.

Artificial Intelligence

Is intelligence demonstrated by machines, in contrast to the natural intelligence (NI) displayed by humans and other animals. In computer science AI research is defined as the study of “intelligent agents”: any device that perceives its environment and takes actions that maximize its chance of successfully achieving its goals. Colloquially, the term “artificial intelligence” is applied when a machine mimics “cognitive” functions that humans associate with other human minds, such as “learning” and “problem solving”.

Facial Recognition

Technology capable of identifying or verifying a person from a digital image or a video frame from a video source. There are multiples methods in which facial recognition systems work, but in general, they work by comparing selected facial features from given image with faces within a data base. Machine Learning is also used to enhance and expedite the accuracy of these systems. Vestigon partners with top providers to help you “unlock the future”.

Diego Borrego

Diego Borrego is a business and technology leader talented in envisioning and executing technical and operational strategies that result in strong bottom-line results for technology companies. A seasoned executive with almost 20 years of management experience building and shaping lean organizations and productive development teams to create and invigorate high tech companies.

Having received his Master’s Degree (Master of Science Engineering and Technology Management) from MIT, Diego went on to found Networkfleet and worked in many senior management positions at some of the largest auto makers in the world including General Motors and Delphi. Diego also served as CTO of Morey Corp. for 4 years and has helped many companies build strong and lasting relationships with manufacturers.

Luis Saldana

Luis has 25+ years of experience in the software industry. He has been a business and technology leader for international service suppliers. His interests are focused on the IoT, automation, digital transformations, and connected-devices ecosystems.

Previously, Luis served as a business development leader and technology officer, he has held positions in operations, account management, software-application engineering. Luis is now dedicated to create value through data analysis and digital processes innovation. Luis has MBA and BS from Monterrey Tec.

Steven Loudon

Steven Loudon is an electrical engineer with 30+ years of experience in the development and deployment of automotive electronic systems, including safety systems – airbag controller and vehicle stability systems and aftermarket electronics – fleet management controller. Wide breadth of electronic subsystem experience, including motion and location sensing, hydraulic and electrical actuation, and cellular data communications.

Experience applying engineering and management skills in multiple domains – electronic design and manufacture, firmware design, development and testing, as well as engineering development process definition.

Ben O’Day

Ben O’Day has been working as an architect, developer and owner of a consulting business in San Diego, CA since 1999. He has helped clients build technology solutions ranging from web applications to high volume IoT platforms.

Ben’s role spans the entire life cycle of projects including planning, architecting, budgeting, staffing and leading development teams. In recent years, he has specialized in vehicle telematics and has helped several companies build cloud based IoT platforms and device management systems.

Brad David

VP Channels

Brad David has 24 years’ experience in the telecommunications industry, specializing in product development, business development, technology management and innovation. During his career, he has founded 4 companies in the technology space. From media solutions for wireless operators and airlines to mobile payments and then finally to IoT hardware and software development, Brad has experience in many critical areas of technology development and overall business strategy.

Craig Kirkpatrick

VP of Manufacturing

Craig is an engineering executive who identifies opportunities to improve operational efficiencies, competitive advantage and ROI for technology companies. His expertise is in building mature engineering organizations through leadership and technical capability. One of Craig’s strength is in leading cross-functional teams to influence technical and project direction to support delivery of profitable products to market. His core competencies include Building Engineering Teams, Product Development, Manufacturing Deployment, Technical Project Management, Vendor/Partner Relationships and Strategic Direction and Planning.
